basically i'm just the anti-jagger in that i tend to post if i have something critical to say than to just pile on w/ positivity. i mean i don't assume anyone else's posts really reflect the whole of their listening habits but when people do so to me there's nothing i can really say that isn't "you should read my blog"-level horrible.

i've changed display names really twice over 10 years, each time because i was genuinely sick of what i was posting under and wanted to start over. 'some dude' is pretty permanent though -- once you've successfully made anonymity into a brand it doesn't get better than that imo.
