Me too! I have nerves, because I never travel alone and also from excitement. Basically I can't wait to just be there, to silence the nerves, since I am always fine once I am there. Still intimidated by US money, will probably give the cashier a $20 for my first coffee since all these damn bills look the same to me :) Love my Canadian Monopoly money!

it was funny how many of the people at jimmy's were obviously going to be heading over to Radio City. I mean it's kind of an after-work bar that empties out post-happy hour anyway but after the showgoers left it was REALLY empty.

did not see Erin but it was p crowded when I first got over there. fun meeting you out-of-towners.

The show was amazing and the was definitely a lot of jumping and dancing. Thanks to everyone who came out. It was great to meet u all. :)

I had fun meeting everyone last night.

Finefinemusic tasting the Rolling Rock was pretty funny. "Oh nooo."

Rolling Rock is beer-scented water! I was out of my element since I rarely drink any American beer.. ughhh. Got home at 5:30 and am now at work on something like 3 hours of completely restless sleep. All the same, I am glad I was there and got to meet all you excellent people! Thank you all for coming out to hang with us :)

ian i totally saw erin picking up tickets at will call but i didn't say anything to her because i was sure she probably has no clue who i am.

how does one get from brooklyn (e.g. around atlantic ave station) to la guardia at 5am? taxi yes? will i be able to hail on round there or should i book a car service?

theyre like taxis w/o meters and its illegal to hail them u call them instead

so you negotiate price when you get in them? and they're only in brooklyn/queens/not-manhattan? but sometimes there are car stands, like taxi stands, aren't there?
i feel like i've taken a regular taxi from brooklyn to manhattan and i definitely have from manhattan to brooklyn.

regular taxis can go in the boroughs atm and can be found sometimes but it's generally more profitable for them to stay in manhattan

but because there is a limit to the number of medallions, the boroughs are underserved, so you have a huge mostly-gonna-look-the-other-way black market, but as jh0 said they are fixing this problem by creating borough-specific taxis

they have them in all the boroughs tho obvs theyre more key in places where no yellow cabs dare tread, the price is somewhat negotiable, and yeah there are car stands some places like outside of the supermarket or w/e you can go to the storefront dispatch place to get one too also people just hail them all the time even tho its against the rules

there are often taxis around caeks departure point but prob not so much at 5am
