dayo, Saturday, 29 October 2011 18:29 (fourteen years ago)

BIG HOOS aka the steendriver, Sunday, 30 October 2011 18:30 (fourteen years ago)

that joke doesnt make any sense: the man literally just read a document that answers the question he is asking in the comic

⚓ (gr8080), Sunday, 30 October 2011 21:16 (fourteen years ago)

no, grady, "are you experienced" is the name of a famous jimi hendrix song, and that's jimi hendrix, in the chair, being asked a question that is also the title of his song, and an album. "are you experienced?" he asks, of course, jimi hendrix is experienced, he wrote the song.

max, Sunday, 30 October 2011 21:23 (fourteen years ago)

"This is normal"

caek, Sunday, 30 October 2011 21:24 (fourteen years ago)

The interviewer is a jerk. He is asking Mr. Hendrix what he knows, judging by the fact he has the resume in front of him. He is also an asshole for making the world's worst pun.

mh, Sunday, 30 October 2011 22:28 (fourteen years ago)

mh otm

max i "got" the "joke" and its reference to hendrix's famous song title, but it is a failure as a joke because no one would read someone's resume and then proceed to ask about their experience

it would make more sense if the interviewer was saying "well i believe this interview went well, but i do not have a copy of your resume in front of me, so... are you experienced?"

think abt it

poorly formed "experience"

google sluething so hard right now (forksclovetofu), Monday, 31 October 2011 04:44 (fourteen years ago)

ohhhhh Grady thanks for explaining that you got the joke, I wasn't sure if you were familiar with the work of jimi hendrix

max, Monday, 31 October 2011 13:05 (fourteen years ago)

max i "got" the "joke" and its reference to hendrix's famous song title, but it is a failure as a joke because no one would read someone's resume and then proceed to ask about their experience

Think nearly every interviewer I've ever spoken to hasn't read my CV.

Mum-Ra Gaddafi the Ever-Living (dog latin), Monday, 31 October 2011 15:01 (fourteen years ago)

Also, it's spelled résumé. I mean, if you're going to include one accent mark, why not two?

pplains, Monday, 31 October 2011 16:39 (fourteen years ago)

And why not six? And if six turned out to be nine, who would mind?

As part of our on-going anti-litter campaign we've launched a new set of advertisements called 'Litter makes a pig of you'. These ads are designed to highlight how filthy littering is by using a play on the words of the nursery rhyme 'This little piggy'. In our ad we have highlighted the socially unacceptable behaviour of 'Four Litter Pigs' and shown the consequences of this behaviour – litter on the streets and a £50 on-the-spot fine for dropping litter!
