Wow, Jenny, that's good. I read some metaphor about feeling like the word "orange," a word that doesn't rhyme with any other, but the whale metaphor is far better, especially b/c it allows for a better resolution.
That whale story is depressing the fuck out of me. The weird seal at least can hang out with humans, but the whale is just going to be alone :(

xpost: it's not the ending, it's the unresolved tension that makes it what it great. Also I'm biased, Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs are respectively my first and second favourite dog breeds, the mere existence of two specimens of such a fine order in the same video (not to mention the cuteness of the ensuing hijinx) is enough to make me melt (don't care for the subtitles, though).
