Japan's legendary underground group Boredoms are returning to the US in 2008 for a rare and very special series of dates this Spring. More relevant now than ever, Boredoms have recently been heralded for their 77 BOADRUM event in 2007 in New York City, where band leader Eye directed a phalanx of 77 drummers playing in unison. VICE Records also reissued their seminal Super Roots series in 2007, prompting SPIN Magazine to call their body of work "the freakiest recordings ever issued."

Never been to Terminal 5; is it better than the Starlight? The philly boredoms show last year was kinda clusterfucky; I had to stand in the middle of a slamdance crowd...

I actually thought the Philly show was better than the NY show.

i cannot BELIEVE they didn't give NYC the best show of their tour. that is outRAGEous.

Yea, there was a 2005 or so release also. I never bought that one. The other version has different cover art. IIRC Anarchy Village is the same thing or nearly the same thing as "777" from some Psy-Harmonics comp. I think there's a version of that track on shock city 1 also
