Finefinemusic and I will be in NYC the night of April 11th and were thinking of maybe a post-work pre-Pulp FAP. I'm sure we'll go out afterwards too but it's a Wednesday so I assume most people will have to work the next day. I think Robyn and the Pinefox are in town that day/week too. I don't really know how to go about organizing FAP things esp in a city I haven't lived in in ages but it would be cool to meet some NYC ILX.

so it's early days yet for my visit, but i think the best days for me to meet up with nycilxors would be Saturday or Sunday 4/7 or 4/8. (right now i have nothing specific planned for the weekend, so i'm pretty flexible.) i could also maybe do Tuesday night, 4/3 or Monday 4/9 during the day, but i assume people would be busy.

also even if you don't want to hang out with me, tell me where to eat.

it is sad that i arrive one day after you leave :(

brooklyn botanical gardens ftw; haven't been to the bronx botanical gardens tho. but the brooklyn ones are great. things should be blooming too!

bronx is great but is huge, more like a state park than your typical botanical garden
brooklyn is more modest in size but v well done

Pretty psyched about the "fragrance garden"

brooklyn is great and right next to the museum if thats your thing, if you go on a tuesday its free

all right i am going to set saturday, april 7th as the day to drink with ilxors. someone has to pick a place. i'll be staying in manhattan, but going to brooklyn is no problem.

I'll be gone/busy all day, but can make it in the evening!
