tehresa, Saturday, 9 June 2007 17:50 (nineteen years ago)

hungover all day...to much bubbly rose...so pink & girly...yet so headachey...

scott seward, Saturday, 9 June 2007 19:55 (nineteen years ago)

I'm so hungover that my boss asked, "Are you hungover?"

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Friday, 15 June 2007 13:46 (nineteen years ago)

i think i cruised around last night drunk on the train jamming behind the mask

Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃, Friday, 15 June 2007 14:10 (nineteen years ago)

Whooo handover-free, as usual! That is because I left at 1am and did not shots = I hate funs, maybe?

Laurel, Friday, 15 June 2007 14:45 (nineteen years ago)

not again

river wolf, Saturday, 16 June 2007 20:55 (nineteen years ago)

the key to no hangover, i think, is more sleep. i slept from ~5:30 to 3:30 today and i don't feel so bad at all!

tehresa, Saturday, 16 June 2007 21:09 (nineteen years ago)

it's not so much the hangover as it is the shame

river wolf, Saturday, 16 June 2007 21:14 (nineteen years ago)

ahhhh. well my dignity went out the window around... february? maybe sooner? so i don't really worry about that stuff anymore! haha

tehresa, Saturday, 16 June 2007 21:15 (nineteen years ago)

ugh i am still hurting

Catsupppppppppppppp dude 茄蕃, Sunday, 17 June 2007 00:44 (nineteen years ago)

:D

Laurel, Sunday, 17 June 2007 00:49 (nineteen years ago)

it's not so much the hangover as it is the shame

i was absolutely slashed -- nay, RAZED with generous guzzles of whiskey, shirtless, in an inflatable pool at a PRIDE WEEKEND block party, and dancing to Fergie.

so yeah, it is, indeed, the shame. the burning, crippling shame.

elmo argonaut, Sunday, 17 June 2007 22:19 (nineteen years ago)

what's funny though is when EVERYONE is complicit; like, by the end of friday night we were playing SLAP THE BAG which is a game some drunky made up that involves taking a bag of wine, slapping it as hard as you can, being judged on said slap by all in attendance, and then drinking from the bag for as long as they deem appropriate.

it's totally stupid, but at 1.30am it was pretty fucking hilarious for at least 5 people in the kitchen. lesson: drunks are really, really dumb

river wolf, Sunday, 17 June 2007 22:25 (nineteen years ago)

lesson 2: eat dinner before drinking, for the love of god

river wolf, Sunday, 17 June 2007 22:28 (nineteen years ago)

you must always do that.

s1ocki, Monday, 18 June 2007 01:28 (nineteen years ago)

i have forgotten two fridays in a row. sometimes, i am a bad learner

river wolf, Monday, 18 June 2007 01:32 (nineteen years ago)

no beer for me today yet i've been drinking for 7 hours. tomorrow the gang will be waiting for me?

chicago kevin, Monday, 18 June 2007 02:01 (nineteen years ago)

No beer for me today at all! Wow. Sort of surprised? But home now and not going back out, so I guess that's it -- and RIP MNDC means I might get things done on Tuesday.

Laurel, Monday, 18 June 2007 02:16 (nineteen years ago)

kevin you don't have a job, so no big deal right?

river wolf, Monday, 18 June 2007 02:17 (nineteen years ago)

evan, absolutely correct. plus my payout from my job was about a grand more than i thought so i'm putting out a 7" by my friends this summer. quitting my job was the best thing i've done in a while. if anyone is unhappy with their job i really do suggest leaving it behind, i know it's scary to be unemployed but if you're like me (and if you are i really and truly pity you) you can not put a price on piece of mind.

quit your job. work is a sham.

chicago kevin, Monday, 18 June 2007 02:23 (nineteen years ago)

i'm putting out a 7" by my friends this summer

cool!

river wolf, Monday, 18 June 2007 02:26 (nineteen years ago)

i know i'm not getting one of the songs i wanted but if i get the other it will be ok. prorated, it's not a bad hobby.

chicago kevin, Monday, 18 June 2007 02:45 (nineteen years ago)

lol elmo haha

slap the bag sounds like something that could have been a lot more shameful

i like working + having some money but i do not like jobs - there are ways tho

have not had hangover in v v long time; have no business on this thread

rrrobyn, Monday, 18 June 2007 03:19 (nineteen years ago)

Yah me neither, I mostly just post here to poke my drinking buds for not having observed my moderate ways.

Laurel, Monday, 18 June 2007 03:29 (nineteen years ago)

no hangover tomorrow bc only 3 beers tonight. even though i would have had more this was probably a wise call.

tehresa, Monday, 18 June 2007 03:54 (nineteen years ago)

btw i love bruce springsteen and i don't care who knows it

river wolf, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:05 (nineteen years ago)

that is aok!

i am growing up a little. it's like a constant battle but yeah, this time, work wins out! *maybe* i am learning a lesson or two from our beloved laurel!

tehresa, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:06 (nineteen years ago)

Hah. Laurel rode abt 25 miles today and sat in the sun for like eight hours so I know I am hella dehydrated and I fear the effects of alcohol at this point.

Laurel, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:10 (nineteen years ago)

ghost rider, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:10 (nineteen years ago)

ghost rider, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:11 (nineteen years ago)

ok as long as we're tlaking about sitting in the sun for 8 hours does anyone want to skip work a week from tomorrow and go to the beach w/ me?

tehresa, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:13 (nineteen years ago)

ghost rider, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:22 (nineteen years ago)

this is true, and you don't have an office tying you down, right????

tehresa, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:30 (nineteen years ago)

i went to the beach tuesday. who knew that division street was a better spot to watch girls than the beach? unless you're 18 or something anyway.

chicago kevin, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:46 (nineteen years ago)

wait i knew that dude what the hell are you talking about

river wolf, Monday, 18 June 2007 04:56 (nineteen years ago)

meant to back-up hard drive yesterday, but drank straight vodka all day long instead. today, hung over, computer explodes, itunes says "fuck you, i don't remember you having 10,000 songs", and now i'm feeding back 10,000 songs into itunes and re-converting tags and it's taking forever, and itunes being a bitch right now would be just fine if i'd backed my shit up yesterday and, son of a bitch. stupidest hang over ever.

andi, Monday, 18 June 2007 10:36 (nineteen years ago)

I don't exactly have a hangover but I drank five beers last night and it hurts to talk today.

nickalicious, Monday, 18 June 2007 17:41 (nineteen years ago)

nick i know that feeling!
my ears feel like i was at a loud show, but i was not.
ow.

strongohulkington, Wednesday, 20 June 2007 15:18 (nineteen years ago)

no pukes here but damn i haven't been hungover at work like this in ages!

tehresa, Wednesday, 20 June 2007 15:25 (nineteen years ago)

Vomming is better for non-hangovering than not vomming.

I guess I missed all the fun at rawk triv? Soz, I got home from bykes at 11 or so.

Laurel, Wednesday, 20 June 2007 15:26 (nineteen years ago)

Just as we hit the green,
I've never been so happy to be alive.
Only seven miles behind
You could smell the child,
The smell of the front line's survival.

With my silver Buddha
And my silver bullet,
(I pull the pin.)

You learn to ride the Earth,
When you're living on your belly and the enemy are city-births.
Who need radar? We use scent.
They stink of the west, stink of sweat.
Stink of cologne and baccy, and all their Yankee hash.

With my silver Buddha
And my silver bullet,
(I'm pulling on the pin,)
Ooh, I pull out, pull out the pin.
(pulling on the pin, oh...)

Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
I love life!
I love life!

I've seen the coat for me.
I'll track him 'til he drops,
Then I'll pop him one he won't see.
He's big and pink, and not like me.
He sees no light.
He sees no reason for the fighting

With my silver Buddha
And my silver bullet.
(I'm pulling on the pin,)
Ooh, I pull out, pull out the pin.
(pulling on the pin, oh...)

I had not seen his face,
'til I'm only feet away
Unbeknown to my prey.
I look in American eyes.
I see little life,
See little wife.
He's striking violence up in me.

With my silver Buddha
And my silver bullet.

Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
I love life!
I love life!

Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
I love life!
I love life!
