I don't know why it's so hard to stick yr chosen background image in the most basic photo editing app and fuck around w/the contrast/gamma/brightness page 'till it's pale enough that you can read text over it, though! I think I'll google up some '60's Bridget Riley op-art & use that as my myspace background image, if you can't beat em, bleh.
