new shoes

had a dream in which scenester dudes were wearing these rubber beatle boots, like made out of the same shiny rubber from which they make those brightly-colored women's and kids' galoshes. some had additional objects molded into/onto them, like one dude's pair was pizza-themed, with little rubber pepperoni and mushroom slices all over. was not convinced.

oh i don't wear cargo pants. i have a couple different pairs. i have a pair of buzz rickson's and a pair of ralph lauren RRL that are similar quality and price.

i would love to get a pair of real mccoy's officer pants but they are a bit out of my price range.

Do Toms shoes stretch much? Just got a pair but now I'm worried they're slightly too small...

those purple orange monstrosities are pretty killer

and they don't seem hard to wear tbh! i think you'd just need to anchor them with strong neutral like navy and then offset the bright shoes with some bright color elsewhere whether it matches the shoes or not. those shoes with dark denim and like a lemon yellow tee would be solid imho.

exactly my thoughts, elmo. 80% of the time i wear dark wash jeans and primary/secondary colored tops so these seem pretty compatible. what i cant pull off are sneaks that are primarily white.
