i'd never heard of Foxes, then i bought it on VHS at a place getting rid of all their cassettes. it actually has some really great moments (lots of lols), and that awesome late 70s/early 80s soft film quality that makes everything look porny.

i also bought it for young jodie foster. yaaow.

I was kinda burnt out on the dude for a while but I have been listening to a bunch of these again

on hearing the original "encuentro" that it sampled, that villalobos remix sounds pretty underwhelming and lazy

that r + s remix is real nice

here is a question re: too high to move..
the sample is taken from what i believe is Moroder's version of Janis Ian's "Run Too Fast, Fly Too High," made famous by the Jodie Foster film, "Foxes." how do i shot finding Moroder version? i've searched high and low and it doesn't seem to fuckin exist.

Jaxon- i think most of the tracks they've used are floating around. "Days" is a loop "Coldest Days..." as i mentioned up thread, "Too High" is "Fly too High," and i have the real "Drax" somewhere around here...

haha. another record i had that i didn't realize was a sample to that album. it's been a while since i've listened to QV, and that's the last song on the second side, so i probably have never gotten to it.

Sounds like "The Days of Pearly Spencer" by David McWilliams.

its pearly spencer all right, but the vocals dont really sound like mcwilliams or almond, even when pitched up.
