btw, i've been seriously loving those AMO ep's for a while now, so weird and good

i've come around to radio slave. i really like his essential mix, and lots of the stuff on rekids (like "u askin" and "life soundtrack" ... both already in my top 10 this year) ... i think his most of his artist work as rekid still sorta sucks but whatever. i really like quiet village ... a LOT.

most of my really pissy bitchfests on ILM are disguised pleas for help ... as in "help i don't GET dubstep, like AT ALL, please someone explain it to me". thing is nobody is usually up for the game. =(

also i think it's very healthy, no, fuck it, it's urgent and key to have a love-hate relationship with the music you listen to.

i have listened to that villalobos Encuentro... track like a billion times this week

i think the first is still my favorite but i listen to the second a lot more.

my favorite of their originals is 'negro,' without a doubt. i could listen to that song all day.

i like "pillow talk" the best. ultimate alan parsons re-edit!!

i also like "too high to move" and "drax" a lot. "can't be beat" is ok. "negro" is pretty good. the only one i don't like so much is #3.

pillow talk is fucking great; too high to movie has a very apt title, etc

i didnt like #3 until i heard it in one of the prince language mixes.

i think it was just the three 12's on a cd-r available only at a tokyo sneaker store or something. i cant remember where i heard that.. either the beardo thread or lurking djhistory forums.

maybe that's where 'negro' and 'days' come from.

Jaxon, if you can still upload it then please do. the other one linked is a fairly horrible rip. the rip you did of the second ep was much cleaner.

Negro and Days were automatically labelled 'album inconnu' on my itunes... i believe they are tracks from the mysterious LP that people keep talking about.

Days is really nice if you know that the sample is taken from the Chi-Lites, "Coldest Days of My Life."

also yeah, re: free rider and circus of horrors: i don't like them and they sound nothing like the other stuff that QV has done, so i forget that they exist all the time.

in case some noize dude(tte)s haven't heard the frankie vallie & four seasons track Beggin and the current pilooski reeidit. i think you guys would love it. drums sound sampled straight from a can song and guitar or whatever it is sounds like it's from ESG's moody
