Lately gin fucks me up something awful, so I worried about guzzling four Bombay and tonics last night. I was right to worry.

i went out for a couple of afterwork beers with a couple of chilxors then made some mac 'n' cheese then fell asleep on my couch when i was supposed to meet some other people at a different bar. i'm not hungover at all but my hay fever is killing me.

I have a dehydration headache but I think that's thanks to 2-hr rehearsal plus bike ride plus beer plus bike ride home.

i didn't even have time to get an egg sandwich this morning because i was rushing to make 9 oclock meeting. now i have another meeting at 10. oh work why u bust balls on friday morning?

hmmm i am leaning towards chinese, because the burgers in my work cafeteria are ass. though the do come with choice of fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings.

goddamn, i want some onion rings. my old boss is taking me out for lunch today and i would be happy with oninon rings and beer. i'm DEFINITELY drinking at lunch today.

i think somebody rufied my madison sq. garden beers. or maybe it was just because i was drinking them through a straw? by the time i got home i was so tired i couldn't even make it to other awesome events of the evening and now i am all groggy and shit :(

the key to no hangover, i think, is more sleep. i slept from ~5:30 to 3:30 today and i don't feel so bad at all!

i was absolutely slashed -- nay, RAZED with generous guzzles of whiskey, shirtless, in an inflatable pool at a PRIDE WEEKEND block party, and dancing to Fergie.

so yeah, it is, indeed, the shame. the burning, crippling shame.

what's funny though is when EVERYONE is complicit; like, by the end of friday night we were playing SLAP THE BAG which is a game some drunky made up that involves taking a bag of wine, slapping it as hard as you can, being judged on said slap by all in attendance, and then drinking from the bag for as long as they deem appropriate.

it's totally stupid, but at 1.30am it was pretty fucking hilarious for at least 5 people in the kitchen. lesson: drunks are really, really dumb

evan, absolutely correct. plus my payout from my job was about a grand more than i thought so i'm putting out a 7" by my friends this summer. quitting my job was the best thing i've done in a while. if anyone is unhappy with their job i really do suggest leaving it behind, i know it's scary to be unemployed but if you're like me (and if you are i really and truly pity you) you can not put a price on piece of mind.
