i bought a pair of adidas london and a pair of gazelle twos in really similar colourways recently (sky blue stripes, navy suede for the rest). really need a suede brush. also need a pair of beaters to wear in lieu of those other two in order to stop them getting destroyed when i go out to clubs or whatever. damn dirty dancefloors. thinking of a pair of these:

so the pink adidas are bad, in real life. cute but too wide, make your feet look huge.

Sunny - mine are the SL 72. I love the green and black ones, this year's model have white and red soles which I'm not as excited about.

Gosh they're sweet. 'Fresh Blue' is a really nice shade too esp in the suede part. I might even like it more than the classic 'satellite blue'.
I keep trying to find the right combination at miadidas to create a med-dark brown suede/ gold stripe pair kind of in the campus or superstar design but I haven't found it yet

I got some Clarks Desert Boots. Love em but NYC streets and subway steps are rough on suede. I was bummed when they got their first scuff, now there's enough little spots on em that it can pass for ~character~

yeah ive had mine for 3 yrs now and they look verrrry character-y. but i love em.

mine got rainstormed on soon after i bought them. they're all discolored & ridic looking now. they've lasted longer than any nikes ive ever had, though

I take it you weren't actually running in them? Pretty sure running shoes wear out really fast.

no i was totally running in them. during the winter i just wore them to the gym, but ran in them every summer.

Does everyone find their DBs comfortable? I can't stand to wear them around the city because they make my feet ache.

they took some getting used to. if I tie em really tight I'm good now.

DBs are my most comfortable shoes but I don't believe in arch support so

i have DBs that really hurt my feet. only wore them a few times.

I used to love them but then I started wearing wallabees and when I went back to the DBs they just seemed so light and flimsy, not just the lack of support but the thinness of the sole. So after years of just wearing wallabees my feet started to hurt bad so now I only wear the brown leather Clarks boots posted above and the Brooks Cascadia sneakers, and my foot pain had disappeared.

However, I am totally in love with Clarks socks! There's a Clarks store in the Queens Center Mall and their socks are the most comfortable I've ever worn, they don't fall apart or lint, and they have a guarantee.

my desert boots are totally comfy. you gotta tie em a little tight so they dont move around too much. but how could they not be comfortable its just three pieces of suede and some rubber?

After switching to wallabees, desert boots felt like I was wearing slippers. I wore Desert Boots for years, I just need more support all around.
