christ i hope they're better than trad gras, easily one of the worst groups i've ever seen, sounded like Ride or somesuch indie shit - i expect better of a dbl lep -- Ward Fowler (littlefielda...), August 31st, 2005. (later)
more like a crappy pub rock jam.
but of course we saw the reunion thing...after that I never got to tracking down the archival 70s stuff. parson sound won the drone on poll for the best rec for [whatever year it was released in]. didn't track that down either.

well, besides the quality, it was pretty cool. didn't make me poop my pants. but i'm not a lover of blues rock. they did a nice job of spacing stuff up a bit. pretty faithful rendition of all the great 70s hard rock stuff i've been listening to lately.
the funniest thing about that show recording was those two guys standing near the tape recorder. you could hear all their dumb conversations.

it was cool. I almost texted you to see if you wanted to go after work but I figured you were probably doing EVR.
first song of their set went from 12:15 to 12:45 amsecond song went from 12:45 to 1:05third song was Smokin Figs in the Backyard from 1:05 to 1:10fourth and last song went until 1:25 am
during the half-hour song I had to admit they take their name kinda literally.
