Wonderful. I'm seriously considering a pair of Golas in the reverse of that, green suede with white stripes, to replace my Pumas as non-athletic athletic shoes.

I'm going back on forth on whether to put fatter white laces on them.

I found these on sale for super cheap when I was in Italy last summer - like 30 euro and the exchange rate was really good - but the dude in the store laughed and laughed when I asked if they had European size 46, as if such a size was preposterous. I still love them and want to buy some but it's hard after seeing them so cheap.

i had the best pair of eastland driving mocs in middle school.. black suede + cognac leather. they were so cool. i wish they still made them. (catholic school. had to have the right preppy/nerdy accessories so the mean girls didn't pick on you for being lower middle class etc. the place was a weird combination of preppy and trashy)

Keds are very reasonable. I even have a pair. I mean you can't argue with something that is just as simple as the day it was first made and has barely gone up in price.

i have a great pair of chukka keds--i love the laces on those elmo

yea the leather laces on these are kinda stiff and far too long so they look a bit goofy? they def need trimming / wearing in but i like it overall

boyfriend bought a pair of toms; he loves them. they'd fit me but i can't get past the signature crumpled toe-box

i bought a pair of adidas london and a pair of gazelle twos in really similar colourways recently (sky blue stripes, navy suede for the rest). really need a suede brush. also need a pair of beaters to wear in lieu of those other two in order to stop them getting destroyed when i go out to clubs or whatever. damn dirty dancefloors. thinking of a pair of these:

so the pink adidas are bad, in real life. cute but too wide, make your feet look huge.

Sunny - mine are the SL 72. I love the green and black ones, this year's model have white and red soles which I'm not as excited about.

Gosh they're sweet. 'Fresh Blue' is a really nice shade too esp in the suede part. I might even like it more than the classic 'satellite blue'.
I keep trying to find the right combination at miadidas to create a med-dark brown suede/ gold stripe pair kind of in the campus or superstar design but I haven't found it yet
