2, we have to start thinking about outfit maybe it could be made from reflective material and the lights on the stage can be calculated to make that look amazing , so in one song we can kill all lights and jus do one song spot lit with reflective cloths

3, we need to start getting Andrew in to the mix so we can start figuring out how long it will take to program the Limar again with new 3d images

~ Elsipogtog Youth (Melissa Dedam <sunshini✧✧✧@hotm✧✧✧.c✧✧>) have been busy strengthening their (considerable) political power and are forming an Elsipogotog Youth Council. They seeking support and assistance in their work to improve their community and strengthen their ties with people who are committed to sharing their knowledge and skills.

Got an email last week from a young Republican applying for a job in the office of Pennsylvania Senator-elect Dave McCormick. This person did video production and social media for the campaign and is trying to parlay that into a full-time staff position. He addressed the email to "James," and I figured out that McCormick has an advisor named James [my last name], who presumably has a similar email address to mine. Today the job seeker has followed up to ask whether his first email was received.

In most other circumstances, I would let the person know that they have the wrong address. But I suppose I don't feel like extending that kindness in this case.

The vast majority of the time when I get a misdirected email, and reply to them to politely let them know they've got the wrong email address, they respond with 'well this is what you gave me/ you signed up to receive information' etc etc.

It seems incredibly hard to communicate in one email that 'I am not the person you think I am, check your records and try again'.

Got some USPS notifications, then cancellations, for someone with my name in Baltimore. Not very exciting, but I was vaguely amused to see '© 2025 United Parcel Service of America, Inc. UPS, the UPS brandmark, and the color brown are trademarks of United Parcel Service of America, Inc. All rights reserved.'

A few companies have obtained registered trademarks for their signature colors. Tiffany Blue (Pantone 1837) and UPS’s Pullman Brown have both been trademarked since 1998. Ironically, the first color to be trademarked was pink — the color of Owens Corning’s fiberglass insulation.

Ironic because Mattel has been unsuccessful so far trademarking Barbie Pink.

A trademark is pretty limited to the trade in question — in shipping and package delivery, UPS just gets brown as its distinct trade dress. (It's a little funny to do the whole entire color, but to be fair to them they do go super-heavy on it as an identity thing.)

I also learned today that fiberglass is pink for marketing reasons.
