i don't understand commenting protocol. isn't the idea to say nice things about people or leave rofflarious pictures so they will win myspace friends? people always leave notes like "hey! let's go clubbin'! you're so gay!" which they could easily do privately using...phones, or email. i delete these kinds of comments!

The guy I've been dating for almost two months broke up with me last night. He told me he loved me, but wanted to be with me AND his ex-girlfriend. This girl cheated on him, got pregnant by another guy, and beat the hell out of him when he broke up with her. I held him and cried with him when his mother died (and I never met her). I gave him a place to stay so he wouldn't have to pay money for a motel room when he was in town. I got him up and to work on time. I travelled to go see him. I put a lot of time, money, thought and energy into him. And he wants to cheat on me with his ex? He cheated on her with me, and didn't even tell me they were still technically together. I still love him and miss him, but I know I don't want him back. But I still feel like I won't stop crying, that I won't get over this, that I'll never love again, that this pain will never go away.

It's amazing that you can be on top of the world and so incredibly happy in one breath, and in the next breath, it's all gone.

The most horrible feeling in the world is betrayal. I was really and truly in love with Daniel. I know he loved me back. But he decided to push me away for the rest of his life. I don't even know if he really cheated on me because I know how he is when he's way too fucked up. I haven't heard from him in almost a week now and neither have his co-workers. That just goes to show what kind of person he is. He drinks way too much; got back into massive amounts of drugs (even though he told me he'd stay clean for me); lost his job and doesn't even care; his dad just got out of the hospital and Daniel has rarely been home; and he's just an all-around selfish person. I realize this now and wish I could have seen it from the beginning. People say, "It's better to have loved and lost than never loved at all." I think that's bullshit. I wouldn't wish this pain on anybody. I just hope he wakes up one day and realizes who he gave up. Me. The girl who held him and cried with him when his mother died, even though I never met her. The girl who travelled to Georgia and North Carolina just to see him. The girl who gave him a place to stay in Columbia so he wouldn't have to spend money on a motel room. The girl who tried to get him to slow his drinking down before he killed himself with it. The girl who did everything in the world for him, bent over backwards, and never expected anything in return for it. But he lost that when he pushed me too far away from him, and he'll never get me back. I just hope he know that one day and can live with knowing he'll never, ever be as happy as he was with me.
