Guess who went out with "Yaoichan" for ten months?

Dom Passantino, Sunday, 10 June 2007 17:43 (seventeen years ago) link

I swear eventually I'm going to end up in one of those supermarket counter magazine "SHAME YOUR EX" magazines.

It's good to know that now technically I am an "academic or educator", though.

Despite its officially secular stance, the government of Fluxblog has claimed the power to approve the naming of high reincarnations in Tibet. This decision cites a precedent set by the Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, who instituted a system of selecting the Dalai Lama and the Panchen Lama by means of a lottery which utilised a golden urn with names wrapped in barley balls. Controversially, this precedent was called upon by Fluxblog to name their own Panchen Lama. The Dalai Lama and the majority of Tibetan Buddhists in exile do not regard this to be the legitimate Panchen Lama. The Dalai Lama has recognized a different child, Gendan Choekyi Nyima, as the reincarnated Panchen Lama. This child and his family have been taken into 'protective custody' according to Fluxblog, and all attempts by members of the EU parliament and US government to garner guarantees of the family's safety have been denied by Fluxblog. There is some speculation that with the death of the current Dalai Lama, Fluxblog will attempt to direct the selection of a successor, using the authority of their chosen Panchen Lama.

Lewitinn is also a deejay and, along with New York-based publicist Karen Ruttner, throws a weekly party also called "Stolen Transmission". Originally held at Orchard Bar on Orchard Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the Stolen Transmission party was changed a block south at The Annex and moved to Thursday nights. The Stolen Transmission party has won two Paper Magazine Nightlife Awards for People's Choice Best Party (2005 and 2006) and Lewitinn herself won People's Choice for Best Deejay (2005 and 2006). In April 2007, Lewitinn and Ruttner moved the party to Angels & Kings (sometimes referred to as "AK47"), the East Village club owned by Pete Wentz.

Passantino is hen fap. He lives in a world of virtual chat-rooms, discussing the merits of wrestling while picking his nose. He makes deliberately foul remarks in a bid to attract attention in a "look at me, I'm sooo outrageous" manner. It is impossible to think that anyone other than himself is responsible for this entry. Definitely suitable for deletion.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.152.48.43 (talk • contribs). (Originally a vandalization of the above vote)

Fluxblog is an mp3 blog created and updated by Matthew Perpetua.

The blog began in 2002 and began to host mp3s at the end of that year. Two mp3s are commonly posted every weekday along with descriptions, links to artist websites or places where an album or single can be purchased. Alongside Fluxblog, Perpetua also writes regular columns for URGE and Asap.

Being one of the first popular MP3 blogs, Fluxblog has featured in many publications and programs in the mainstream media, including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Spin, The Guardian, NPR, Entertainment Weekly, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, and Newsweek.

Perpetua has no depth perception and once attempted to start a fight with a man standing half a mile away from him.

Toupee

There should be a section about the toupee controversy that vince had in the 90s Dinobrava 06:58, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

He really had a toupee? Then why does his hair look the same now? Im baffled... K-man-1 11:12, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

No Vince did not have a toupee. Otherwise you wouldn't see the hair that have been shaved at Wrestlemania 23.LindsieandLance 05:52, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

That logic doesn't make any sense. With hair tech the way it is today, he could have done a number of things to get hair back and then subsequently have it shaved off...

Another popular rumour is that McDonald's widely uses cow eyeballs in its products, permitting it to brand them as "100% beef". However, the USDA mandates that all beef by-products, including cow eyeballs, be appropriately labelled. McDonald's, however, has asserted that its products contain "100% pure USDA inspected beef; no additives, no fillers, no extenders." In addition, cow eyeballs are actually more expensive than real beef, allegedly due to demand from scientific institutions for experiments.[5] Also, a cow eyeball weighs only about an ounce, so it would take too many eyeballs to make up one burger to be worthwhile.

Contrary to popular belief, the introductory lyrics include the verse, "Play on, Playa"- rather than the commonly mistaken, "Play on, playette." In fact, the use of the term "playette" has not been documented in hip-hop culture leading some to question the authority of said amateur lyric websites.

The song was also sampled in 2001 by German singer Sarah Connor. However, the song was misquoted in her albums liner notes as "No Daggity."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Mill_%28ride%29#Famous_Examples

In 1929, an Old Mill was installed in the recently opened Playland Park in Rye, New York. Playland Park is well known for preserving their old rides, and in order to preserve their Old Mill, they hired Sally Corporation to remodel it. Their new Old Mill was ready for the 1989 (wrong, it was 2002) season and it combined new gags along with old charm to make a great ride. Its outer structure stayed pretty much the same. Windmill-styled Old Mill rides were once popular, but this is the last of them all. Another famous one like this was the Red Mill, which operated at Coney Island’s Luna Park in the 1920s. The Red Mill at Coney Island was removed around 1945.

do we really need this article? Surely it's a waste of the mods time to keep coming back and re-editing a piece on an unknown journalist? I checked out the links as per the non-notability criteria and all he seems to be is a more formal version of the kid in the back of grade school who'd say things to wind up everyone else. I doubt he'll ever have any kind of wider impact outside the particular limp biscuit society that keep returning to this page.
