three weeks pass...
I just got it last week but I am mostly playing GTA SA and MGS3.
Got to Make a Star 8 though, and got the soundtrack off bittorrent.

As hateful as he may be in the game, who wouldn't want to be the King Of All Cosmos, a decadent, flamboyant bastard with great legs and a marvellous way with words?

KOAC reminds me of you, Adam. He talks in RHYMES and RIDDLES. Also, after Make a Star 9, you find out that he's a Scot.

"as for size, the head in the picture is mine, and my head is medium-large for a girl - if you're worried about fit, my head is approximately 22" around, so it would fit anything smaller just fine (it looks cute on my wig head, which is smaller than most people's heads)"

"I was driving down Venice Boulevard," recalled her husband, Dan Kitchens, "and
Kozy reached over and grabbed the steering wheel and for a moment was trying to
yank it to the right.... (Then) she let go, but kept staring out her window,
and then looked back at me kind of stunned and said, 'Sorry. I thought we could
pick up that mailbox we just passed.'"

andrew l. r. (allocryptic), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 05:18 (twenty-one years ago)

haha, from the myspace group:

Another thing that gets my goat:

The girl in the backpack. Seriously, what is her deal? Her brother is pulling a full-on Encyclopedia Brown all over this missing star case, and she just sits there looking dopey. This girl can feel the cosmos, for fuck's sake. I mean it's pretty obvious when she spins off into a constellation with a relevant and hilarious catch phrase that she knows a thing or two about turning as many related objects as possible into constellations. Yet whenever her brother talks about the case to the blockheaded mom, you'd think she never even heard of stars, much less the cosmos' texture. Girl, back your brother up! We all know you end up stuck with him on the moon in the end. The way you've thrown him under the bus, I'd suggest sleeping with one eye open.

gygax! (gygax!), Saturday, 15 January 2005 02:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I made the moon.

can you play it on nintendo?

LSD ARISTOCAT (ex machina), Saturday, 15 January 2005 05:07 (twenty-one years ago)

The secret is to be bold, ambitious. Don't piss around picking up all the little things. Just get a few of them and then move on to the next area if you can. Go for gold.

-- adam... (adamr...), November 29th, 2004 2:27 PM. (nordicskilla)

This advice really came in handy.

Last night, driving into the city, shot out of Treasure Island onto the bridge and just as downtown starts to rise up in front of me, ipod shuffle treats me the the KD theme tune in bold, loud stereo.

how did it compare to the opening of Experiment In Terror?

gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 18 January 2005 22:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Isn't that a long tracking shot of Twin peaks or something?

.ada.m. (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 18 January 2005 22:05 (twenty-one years ago)

No it's arial (overhead and side) POV of a car driving the west span of the Bay Bridge (Treasure Island - Embarcadero) with Mancini's score.

gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 18 January 2005 22:11 (twenty-one years ago)

But you know, I pay attention to things like that so I can understand how the subtle interworkings of film direction could go right "over your head"...

gygax! (gygax!), Tuesday, 18 January 2005 22:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Don't be such an anti...you know.

I am going to Balboa Park!

http://www.chudahs-corner.com/lyrics/kd_love.html

This blue planet spins so peacefully
Yet the sadness never goes away

Why do we keep hurting one another?
When all it takes is a little kindness, a little understanding?

LOVE. Connect with one another
Then our hearts will beat as one
TRY. We want to roll everything in
Then we can all be together
Don't stop, let the love flow
Then we will be together forever

Do you see this is our planet?
Such a beautiful star...
There are just a few things we need in order for it to shine,
All we need is: Love for the Green Mother
A well balanced diet
Plenty of sleep
And nice tan to boot!

With empty hearts, we cannot be as one

LOVE. Connect with one another
Despite the walls that exist between us
TRY. we want to roll everything in,
Roll in even the broken hearts

LOVE. We should all be rolled in as one

Ah! We shall all become bright shining stars!

(Jon L), Wednesday, 9 February 2005 05:36 (twenty-one years ago)

In a bright spot in the sun, I feel my heart start to clear
Your two eyes look like sunflower seeds

Chatting and piling things up, rolling them into the katamari
It's essential to be together

But you're creating a precious dream
And 'til you're done, I'll be waiting here, no matter what

You're lonely rolling star
Don't stop moving, ok?
You're lonely rolling star
Now, let's face forward and go

The starry sky twinkles like confetti
Sweet, yet painful, feelings envelope me

These feelings I hold close dance in the night sky
Will they, I wonder, plummet to the ground at your feet?

You're lonely rolling star
Don't give up, ok?
You're lonely rolling star
Give me a call some time

You're lonely rolling star
I want to meet you right now
You're lonely star
Ah, a sigh escapes my lips

Let's meet again at our special place next month

You're lonely rolling star
Don't stop moving, ok?
You're lonely rolling star
Remember me, please?

You're lonely rolling star
I can't wait for you, you know?
You're lonely rolling star
Now, let's face forward and go
