A few months ago, I knew I was going to take some summer school classes, and, considering I'm an English major, I figured what better way to really get a feel for my major than to go to its birthplace: England. So I thought of going to Oxford, Cambridge, or, even better, directly to London to study. We all know what happened in London today, so it just kind of freaks me out that I could have been over there this morning. I'm not trying to take anything away from the people who have died and those that are wounded; I feel for them and their families. What I'm trying to say is that it just goes to show that something (God, a Supreme Being, fate, a life force, whatever) is looking out for all of us. For those of you who know me, know I'm not a religious person at all. It just still kind of got to me when I woke up this morning and thought, "I was about two steps away from being over there right now."

i don't understand commenting protocol. isn't the idea to say nice things about people or leave rofflarious pictures so they will win myspace friends? people always leave notes like "hey! let's go clubbin'! you're so gay!" which they could easily do privately using...phones, or email. i delete these kinds of comments!
