that Debris album was definitely ahead, I don't listen to most of it but that one song "Leisurely Waiting" is heavy, reminds me of good Chrome

hey, btw, how does it sound? is there anything i need to do to it? my friend suggested normalizing a track after i record it if it isn't loud enough, but it sounds pretty loud to me. i just went straight from the tape out of my receiver (rca to 8th") into my mic input. i used Peak. saved to aiff and then into itunes to convert to mp3.

an interruption for story from my life: I was in an airport early in the morning, around the age of 11 or 12, somewhere in Western Canada (cannot remember city). I was groggy, and not aware of my surroundings. Standing in the ticket line, I had my eyes closed for a bit, and when I opened them to look at the feet in front of mine, all I could see was leather and aqua rhinestones. Then I looked up, and as I did so, LITTLE RICHARD turned back and looked at me, said, "How you doin this morning?" and nodded. I was absolutely dumbstruck, not only because LITTLE FUCKING RICHARD was standing in front of me, but also because his eyeliner matched his coat, his coat matched his boots, which matched his black leather pants. He is still the most glamorous man I have ever witnessed. God damn.

not much! part of why this works = hyper-produced studio recording, with everything seperately tracked and iso'd and panned, I wish people could produce entire Vivaldi cycles like this outside of film scores, but it's not done. also, this is Vivaldi excerpts, just the hits, also frowned upon outside of soundtracks

but I like Takemitsu's score for 'Rikyu' and 'Chinmoku' for avant-baroque, and I'm still hunting for a recording of Tomita's psychedelic jazz Bach arrangements from the film 'Black Lizard', I'm probably going to have to rip it from the DVD
