just anonymously playing records at the back of the room between live sets by friends, most people didn't even realize there was a dj I don't think, though a very shy, very cute girl walked back to thank me for playing ringo

dj sets are total fun though they only really work if you play them guerrila, offstage.

split fennel & the tornds (huge), & you're right, starts quiet before getting brained by scelsi, though a lot of the signal in the first 15 minutes is below 100 Hz

a lot of that place is out of control..i avoided it cause of the name and the bulk for ages...but...and my stacks of cdrs are insanely out of hand...not much left of the dining table

i havent posted anything...offered a few things a while back but then other people beat me to the punch....i need to add some stuff the the guitar thread...not at my computer today,so havent even looked at the site, much less where thats gone.

Dominique, i know it's bad form to request stuff but if you ever have the time and inclination could you upload those Gould/Stokowski "a portrait for radio" docs? i was queued up to get it from you on slsk but the connection keeps failing. if you can't do it that's cool :)
