just realised that that guitar part is from Can't Go Back off mirage

i listened to mirage for the first time last night and was like wtf this album has 'wild heart' on it??

does the album version not have that riff on it? (i can't for the life of me find it on youtube..)

probably my favourite FM album... i wrote a 'hidden treasures' piece on it when i started writing for NME, and complaints about the paper covering FM favourably were all over the letters page a week afterwards (this was 1999, ffs)

I will say it again ... you were born in the wrong generation. I had the good luck to have backstage passes to Fleetwood Mac with Loggins & Messina, early 70's. Stevie Nicks was as beautiful as legend has it. Wish I could say I remember Danny Kirwan.

In the last ten years I've played Tusk and Tango in the Night (and its attendant 12" singles) far more often, but in those infrequent moments when I play Rumours I'm reminded of how weird, wonderful, perfect, and dangerous it is.

yeah i hate how tusks weirdness sometimes makes rumours seems comparatively safe
