DJ NAIR (tehresa), Sunday, 14 February 2010 10:46 (sixteen years ago)

I used to work across the street from Missouri Lounge 7 years ago, and I thought it was a front for a brothel.

sarahel, Sunday, 14 February 2010 11:19 (sixteen years ago)

i heard it used to be a toilet. sort of the east bay equiv of zeitgeist

jaxon, Sunday, 14 February 2010 18:35 (sixteen years ago)

yeahhh I live in dan selzer land now.

never went to missouri lounge - I didn't have a car + was underage for most of my time in the east bay....I haven't even been to the albatross.

iatee, Sunday, 14 February 2010 18:42 (sixteen years ago)

I'd never even heard of missouri lounge actually - it looks fun. I wish these type of places were on shattuck instead of san pablo.

iatee, Sunday, 14 February 2010 18:49 (sixteen years ago)

I work in a shoe shop and people ask me seriously to seperate their toes for them so they can try on sandals with toe-posts, the worst part is when they say shit like "I'm probably not going to buy them, I don't really like them, I just want to see how they look when they're on"

30 Rock is still enjoyable, but has yet to match such previous high points as, "Would you call what we did last night sex?"

Parks & Rec is slowly getting better, mainly due to Aziz Ansari.

The Office either treads water or tries to out-wacky itself; both are equally dull.

Community...well, I despise Chevy Chase with a passion. Never once found him funny in anything. And the strength of the case and the writing is such that I can easily tune him out (or it makes him halfway tolerable).
