i'll tell you what

maybe they're "underwhelming" if you listen to them in ADD thirty-second snippets on your laptop

but i will sequence them into two sets - a 45 minute beardo set and a 45 minute disco set ... then you promise me you will burn them onto CDs and listen to them LOUD, preferably in a large room, on a stereo with good bass response, preferably like a mark levinson amp and preamp and a technics with a fidelity research tone arm with koetsu cartridge and klipschorn speakers and a bozak mixer and we'll see if that doesn't polish your knob

i remember when i first discovered these i was about 16 or so and my friend worked at sam goody and he called me one day to come over and played one of them and it was SO LOUD that cds were actually falling out of their racks. he got fired. but that was because he was whacking off in the bathroom to spin.
