Hi Adam,

Prince is okay. I mean, when he's on the radio, I won't bother to change it. I never felt an intense connection to his music, things like Purple Rain and "Raspberry Beret" were part of my pop-music consciousness but nothing more. He always kind of annoyed me as a "star-figure", I thought a lot of his mystique and charisma seemed really forced and unneccessary (cf, Madonna). That said, I like songs like "Kiss", "I Would Die For You", but by the time most of the stuff after and around the Batman soundtrack was gaining popularity I really lost track of Prince. There's only so much music you can pay attention to.
