chaki, i know you asked me if i knew anything more about that cd. well i was in Groove Merchant this weekend. dunno if you've been there, but they're the best jazz/soul/psych/funk beatdigger type record store in the country. my friend (who knows a SHIT LOAD about this kinda stuff) asked the owner Cool Chris if he knew who put the comp, and chris just smirked. it was this store. and as we left he said "lemme know if you crack the code". said no one has been close yet.
