next gen was pretty much garbage. srsly deep space 7 sucked.

only good episode was next generation. i don't know the episode name, i was 14. this historian from the future travels backwards through time to watch picard do some serious shit. guy keeps laughing at them like no way imma ruin the moment, major history in the making,. it turns out he was some nj guido who stabbed a time travel machine creator in the 1990s and actually went forward in time to jack Data for resale.

You are wrong about TOS and TNG, but that is one of my all time classic hall of fame fave episodes.

Also the one where they wake up the frozen 21st century businessman (He's like a cowboy/oilman/texan or something?) and he's really vulgar and all confused that they don't have money or cars or TV. Great.

Kind of a mixed bag, but there are some pretty outstanding episodes in there. I wish that they were all a hour long as they feel rushed. Too bad Filmation's animation department was so awful.

Forgot... The Larry Niven story is terrific

Star Trek: The Original Series produced many famous out-takes, which were shown to the delight of fans at gatherings over the years and have been extensively bootlegged. One famous example shows actor Leonard Nimoy, who plays the supposedly emotionless Mr. Spock, breaking into laughter when, in the first season episode "This Side of Paradise", instead of saying the line "The plants act as a repository", says "The plants act as a suppository". In another out-take, series star William Shatner breaks character during a scene and starts complaining about the food served in the studio commissary. A third example begins with the third season episode "Is There in Truth No Beauty?", in which guest actress Diana Muldaur recited the line, "We've come to the end of an eventful...trip", to which Shatner replies, "I don't know what you've been taking..." -- a reference to the then-topical issue of drug-induced hallucinations or "trips". People bumping into supposedly automatic doors when the backstage personnel mistimed opening them was a common accident depicted. Similarly there were also mishaps while filming in exterior, with aircraft flying over supposedly alien planets.

bob: there's no decision ... it'll have to be THE CHILDREN

later in the episode, only 20 minutes before the planet-eating cloud reaches mantilles

kirk: bob, have you finished the evacuation?
bob: yes ... there was some hysteria at first ... but we're finished now.
kirk: bob ...
bob: it was only five thousand CHILDREN ... out of EIGHTY-TWO MILLION PEOPLE
