I'm heartened to know that there's still such an interest in the original episodes. That's good, since MTV home video is preparing to re-release them in a complete box set, including all the shorts and loads of extras.
The episodes are being remastered and remixed. They'll include commentaries by various staff, plus preproduction material, interviews and some previously unreleased clips.
Please do not get the bootlegs. They do not support the long term goal of bringing Aeon Flux back, which we are hoping to do in a major way.
Along with the rerelease on dvd, there's the live-action movie, the official website, the Dark Horse comic, and the new game -- all in 2005.

Aeon Flux wouldn't really be able to come back would it? I mean looking at it in a logical stand point, the movies being released with as few ties to the original show as possible, and MTV I think we can all agree, has changed, a lot, as well as the creators of the show, I'm sure.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic though. YEah, Aeon Flux revival.

This is the best of all signs, that Aeon Flux may actually be back in business again. I for one plan to support it wholeheartedly. It will be a total pleasure to do so. To see Aeon Flux as a movie is just amazing. How many other times does this happen? (Okay, lets not bring up Star Trek).
The movie is pretty complimentary. The budget alone says that. The obvious recognition of a good thing.
Actually, Theron looks pretty darn good as Aeon. I'm looking forward to it coming out this July. What a trip!

Cannot wait for the boxed set to be released. Have waited so many years to get Aeon for myself. Just salivating thinking about it ...
