I try to look at the series as it relates to the others. Aeon is very strong at the beginning of the third season. She becomes very weak as the series goes on.

Does Aeon have a conscience? No. Her actions are reckless. She purged her own
conscience. Trevor tricked her into doing it by telling her she has to know.
You cannot know. The fruit of knowledge. The entire conversation is very
Voltaire but its roots are in the Bible. The arc of the series becomes clear in
End Sinister with the two snakes and the Adam and Eve like ending. I could be
wrong.

BTW at the end you can almost see a heart in her eye.

NO, it's her FACE that's key - Towards the end her face almost turns into a heart.

one year passes...

I don't know if I have ever considered Aeon to be a weak individual. I can't say emotion, recklessness, or mistakes etc. are to be considered weak or define the strength of that person's character. In some situations you find that it reveals a person in many aspects depending on the situation. As the series progresses the feel and the aspect of the characters I think have changed from the original shorts, but the essence I think lives on. To me she'll always be that in-depth and unique character and will always carry that radiating strength of mind and body. Even the "strongest" of individuals have their moments of "weakness."

Glad to see the forum still survives :D

I'd be interested to know what you mean about her "getting increasingly weak". I always considered her a static character across the series- that is, she might change within an episode, or any episode might reveal something new about her, but you always start out with the same character. What are the indicators of the weakness you speak of?
