Is there any way of seeing model sheets that were used during production?

The DVD set has a few.

one year passes...

The model sheets on the DVD had low image quality and were kinda blurry. I'm not 100% sure if that's deliberate choice (to protect the artwork from people copying it perhaps???) or just the acceptable quality in 2005.

Here's one higher quality image I've found: https://imgur.com/kwXaOS0 This seems to be a photograph of a paper copy of the model sheet. This person does not seem to have anymore, given the lack of other posts or reply to the comments. I unfortunately don't have enough "interaction with the community" according to Imgur to be able to send messages on the website right now due to spam prevention measures, but if I do get a response someday, I'll post it here.

Here's another one that's not included in the DVD:

Some more model sheets including the one posted above are nicely collected here (mostly ones in better quality and not featured in the DVD): https://www.catsuka.com/gengal/artworks/aeonflux

There is of course, the defunct site StateofFlux, which has some production art though in low quality, scroll down and click the icon of her face if you don't see a menu with pages through the link. I can't share individual pages from the archive. : http://www.oocities.org/stateofflux/ That guy has a lot of images not found elsewhere, which are sadly low-quality now due to the archive.

Rubber Slug, a website for collection production cells/art, there's some from this show. Not all photos related to a series will show up when you search so make sure you click to see the user's collection of artwork from that show at the top (second one with the arrow, normally it'll say "Back to AEON FLUX" or something like that ):
Colored ones:

Other: http://guardians.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=421438
There's some other production artwork like background art, drawings and cells on the general site as well: ttp://rickdn.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=126355
http://indianajoneser.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=347784
http://indianajoneser.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=347786
http://infinity.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv_info.asp?ItemID=361156
There's lots more and it's worth digging around, but in regards to character model sheets, the ones above are about it.

I've saved these on my computer in case any of these sites no longer work. I can share them if this happens if you message me using this forum, as I don't want to give away my email publicly. Generally some individuals can be found using google, but of course I'd like to see them all together as well. I'll post a link to anymore not mentioned in either the DVD or above if I find them, incase anyone is interested and to help record the individual sheets we do have.

Apparently the webmaster of the now defunct 'State of Flux' has/had a large collection of glorious color model sheets. I really hope we can make contact with him. I was able to come across the links you shared some time ago but I must admit I haven't done another extensive search in so long as it can be quite tedious. And unfortunately the fan base for Aeon Flux isn't as colossal as it deserves to be. So any gems are few and far between.

I am very grateful for Peter Chung posting here from time to time as it's rare for a creator on his level to interact with fans.

four months pass...

Take a look at this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/153924006181?ViewItem=&item=153924006181
There's around 55 model sheets for sale on ebay. The sample ones shown are in really great resolution, way clearer than what was on the DVD. There's one background image there that I've never seen before. I have the 8 images shown on that ebay listing downloaded on my computer. This listing is a little bit above my price range. I also don't live in the states and I'm not familiar with ebay or how international shopping and shipping works (I'm Canadian) so I don't think that I will be buying this. I hope whoever does will scan it and distribute it on the internet.

This is a tad less exciting as unlike those model sheets up there, it's been long sold off, but there's some model sheets (once again, ones that I've never seen up close) in this calendar.

Take a look at this! I never knew this existed.

"AEON FLUX 2006 Calendar New - Still in shrink wrap. Look at all the artwork by Peter Chung, Tsuryama, Salmons, McCloure, and Nonaka. Pay Pal only accepted. Payment is due within 2 days. The package is sent at the least expensive rate via USPS which is usually First Class Mail, Parcel Post or Media Mail. No international bidders. Please read item description carefully and ask questions prior to bidding or buying."

Both images of thumbnails the artwork in the calendar aren't in high enough resolution for us to see the artwork up close but it's pretty cool stuff nonetheless! It's also pretty cool to see new artwork coming from the show.

This is the only other images I found on the internet regarding the calendar (it's further down and blurry): https://anime4sale.livejournal.com/660343.html

yeah, i think I still have that calendar lying around somewhere. believe it was a pre-order/early bonus for the DVD set?

cool model sheets, though a bit pricey for xerox copies

Cool! I would love to see good photos or a scan of the artwork in them if you ever find the time.
