Oh shit, why did you have to draw my attention to this?!?
(It seems we are engaged in roughly parallel projects. I may have some notes to contribute.)

There's a real rough patch in the late '60s when they were first letting storylines spin out for a year or more and bounce from title to title and it became really tough to knit together a coherent chronology. I'm curious to see how he handles it.
(TBH, I didn't check before assuming that he's actually a he but...come on.)

I'm pretty sure he's a he.
He's up to 1994 which he's acknowledged is a painful path. Today's Ghost Rider reviews felt like... I mean, my soul curdled. (This was around the point I bailed on Marvel.)

"patch," not "path"
Old Lunch, you probably already know about this (long finished) project, but if not, have fun: http://geoffklock.blogspot.com/search/label/Jason%20Powell
You have to wade down a bit, but in essence Jason Powell reviewed every Chris Claremont X-Men comic.

Oh, yeah, I know that one. There's also the Complete Marvel Reading Order site which I utilized in tackling the silver age and is mostly pretty accurate (although I have some minor quibbles). I'll return to the bronze age one day when I'm caught up on contemporary stuff (just starting Standoff, only a few hundred issues to go now, will die never having caught up).

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand he's done :(
"This project attempted to present a timeline or chronology of all Marvel comics. I made it up to 1994.
The site is no longer being worked on and comments have been disabled. The site will remain up in read-only mode for as long as i feel like paying for the domain & hosting."

Yeah, it's sad that happened, that site was a nice place to discuss old Marvel comics with a small but thoughtful and polite community. Can't really blame the guy considering how bad the material he had to wallow through at that point was.

1993/1994 was clearly torture for him; I'd have quit by that point myself (actually, this is pretty much when I bailed on Marvel in real time).

I’m not sure if it’s intentional - yesterday the comics site and the Godzilla site were both still up but his personal blog had been replaced by some like Japanese retail site of some kind? So I wonder if it’s some lapse of payment or something rather than him actively taking everything down.
