Have I been kicked off this board? If so why?

IRONY.. CRUSHING.. FACE

teh_kit (g-kit), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 13:09 (seventeen years ago) link

Yeah, it sucks. But alot of geniuses arent appreciated in their own time. So, I've gotten use to folks misunderstanding me. Still though, you would think someone would be able to fabricae some reason for having me banned.

Paul Edward Wagemann (PaulEdwardWagemann), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 13:32 (seventeen years ago) link

dude, you're totally not banned from this board. look, you just posted.

teh_kit (g-kit), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 13:46 (seventeen years ago) link

Mr Wagemann appears to have been banned only from ILM. He will have to ask the specific moderator who banned him this time.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 13:47 (seventeen years ago) link

I would guess spamming one's myspace blog, monomania, borderline trolling.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 13:49 (seventeen years ago) link

no idea who this guy is

Konal Doddz (blueski), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 14:01 (seventeen years ago) link

I didnt do any spamming.
Monomania? How is replying to questions monomania?
And I'm not a troll. Do you categorize anyone with an unique personality as a troll? Is that what this world is coming to? Just because someone is a little different or doesnt adhere to the 'popular' opinion, they are labled a troll?

Paul Edward Wagemann (PaulEdwardWagemann), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 14:18 (seventeen years ago) link

I was only guessing (shrugs)

Pashmina (Pashmina), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 14:21 (seventeen years ago) link

Oh, well. Just to give you an overview, I came on to this board a little while ago and posted my opinon on a few things. Then there was this crew of about 4 guys who just started insulting me. A couple guys actually tried to talk with me, but this gang of four kept hi-jacking the conversations. Then they probablly all sent requests to the moderator to ban me.
I'd really appreciate it if the moderator went back and looked at what really happened here.

Paul Edward Wagemann (PaulEdwardWagemann), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 14:32 (seventeen years ago) link

welcome to ILM.

teh_kit (g-kit), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 14:36 (seventeen years ago) link

thanks, can anyone tell me how long this ban is gonna last?

Paul Edward Wagemann (PaulEdwardWagemann), Tuesday, 3 October 2006 14:44 (seventeen years ago) link

Till you stop referring to yourself as "Ole Wagemann." (Although you do bring a Norwegian bachelor farmer's expertise to your music criticism.)

What counts as spamming? - obvious advertisements, other than for events you are personally involved in. - multiple threads on the same or very similar topics.

Liz Phair's Exile in Guyville made it into the canon? that's just laughable.

Laughable? It's a very important album. This was a fore runner to the whole grlll rock thing that took off in the 90s. Also lyrically it is important. And it is one of the finer examples of low-fi.

Paul Edward Wagemann (PaulEdwardWagemann), Wednesday, 4 October 2006 13:41 (seventeen years ago) link

Oh, I have to blame Liz for that whole movement. Hmm.

Dear diary,

it has been weeks since I was kicked out of the no wagemanns club. Today, like everyday, I plan to stand outside knocking on the door, saying anything that might come across as effective to those standing on the other side of the door. I know this will work.

once I regain access to the no wagemanns club, my insight will enlighten them to no end, as they are desperately in need of my work. They don't even know that rockism means liking rock music. they think it's some kind of bad word. where did they get this idea from? they need me.

tomorrow, i will continue knocking on the door and saying anything and everything to mock its members and regain entry.

diary, you are my best friend.

love,
wagemann

Zeke:
You can bet
There's nothin' but net
When I am in a zone and on a roll
But I've got a confession
My own secret obsession
And it's making me lose control

Jocks:
Everybody gather 'round

Zeke(spoken):
Well if Troy can tell his secret than I can tell mine...I bake

Jock(spoken):
What?

Zeke(spoken):
I love to bake! Strudels, scones, even apple pandowdy

Jocks:
Not another sound

Zeke(spoken):
Someday I hope to make the perfect creme brulee

Jocks:
No, no, no, nooooooooooo
No, no, no
Stick to the stuff you know
If you wanna be cool
Follow one simple rule
Don't mess with the flow, no no
Stick to the status quo

Martha Cox:
Look at me
And what do you see
Intelligence beyond compare
But inside I am stirring
Something strange is occuring
It's a secret I need to share

Brainiacs:
Open up, dig way down deep

Martha Cox(spoken):
Hip hop is my passion! I love to pop and lock and jam and break!

Braniac(spoken):
Is that even legal?

Brainiacs:
Not another peep

Martha(spoken):
It's just dancing. Sometimes I think it's cooler than homework.

Brainiacs:
No, no, no, noooooooooo
No, no, no
Stick to the stuff you know
It is better by far
To keep things as they are
Don't mess with the flow, no no
Stick to the status quo

Skaterdude:
Listen well
I'm ready to tell
About a need that I cannot deny
Dude, there's no explanation
For this awesome sensation
But I'm ready to let it fly

Dudes & Dudettes:
Speak your mind and you'll be heard

Skaterdude(spoken):
Alright, if Troy wants to be a singer... then i'm coming clean! I play the cello!

Dude 1(spoken):
Awesome!

Dude 2(spoken):
What is it?

Dude 1(spoken):
A saw?

Skaterdude(spoken):
No, dude, it's like a giant violin!

Dudes & Dudettes:
Not another word

Dude 2(spoken):
Do you have to wear a costume?

Skaterdude(spoken):
Coat and tie

Dudes & Dudettes:
No, no, no, nooooooooooo
No, no, no
Stick to the stuff you know
If you wanna be cool
Follow one simple rule
Don't mess with the flow, no no
Stick to the status quoooooooo

Jocks, Brainiacs, & Dudes:
No, no, no
stick to the stuff you know
It is better by far
To keep things as they are
Don't mess with the flow, no no
Stick to the status quo

Sharpay:
This is not what I want
This is not what I planned
And I just gotta say
I do not understand
Someting is really

Ryan:
Something's not right

Sharpay:
Really wrong

Sharpay & Ryan:
And we gotta get things
Back where they belong
We can do it

Skaterdude:
Gotta play

Dudes & Dudettes:
Stick with what you know

Sharpay & Ryan:
We can do it

Martha Cox:
Hip hop hooray

Brainiacs:
She has got to go

Sharpay & Ryan:
We can do it

Zeke:
Creme Brulee

Jocks:
Keep your voice down low

Jocks, Brainiacs & Dudes/Dudettes:
Not another peep
No, not another word
No, not another sound
No

Sharpay:
Everybody quiet

Gabriella(spoken):
Why is everybody staring at you?

Monique(spoken):
Not me, you.

Gabriella(spoken):
Because of the callbacks? I can't have people staring at me! I really can't!

Jocks, Brainiacs...:

Dixon, what happened to you? You used to be cool, man. Now it seems like youve joined the bandwagon of those against me...tell me this isnt true. Tell me you still understand where I'm coming from man. Tell me you stil 'get' it...

And I know my opinions on abortion are controversial, but the fact of the matter is that I'm consistant in the fact that my ideas come from a love of humanity and a respect for the miracle of life and the gift of conscious existence. That's why I'm also against the death penalty and the war in Iraq and anything esle in which a human soul is destroyed...
