Because a lot of regulars, including myself, are starting to get really frustrated with unintentionally truncated posts, and we need to be trained to NOT use these characters anymore.

(I understand why you did what you had to do, but you need to tell people about this)

Yeah, I guess ther was a good reason, but what's up now, how do I do use italics?

It should be same way you always did: <I>Text to put into italics</I>

I've posted to both ILE and ILM about this now but it's a manual process putting those threads up. If anyone is reading this here and wants to see that post with the information, check it out here:
