So the problem I noted two posts back, it looks like it's related to whether you have images turned on or not. With images on, all of the YouTube embeds in a post appear, but with images off, the tail end of the post disappears after the first YouTube link. Hope that's helpful.

not sure if this is an ilx issue or a browser issue but my ilx login and stylesheet cookies aren't working in microsoft edge - i have to login again every time i restart the browser. cookies working fine on all the other sites i use regularly.

I noticed a while back that if a post includes both a youtube embed and a quote box, the quoted text disappears when you turn images off (but regular text is unaffected). I assume this is a related issue.

A funny thing happens when you turn images off...

Fixed! And hopefully tweets should now embed properly too.

this needs separating up more than ever now; most of the time i've only ever wanted just images and no youtubes, etc

Has anyone spotted anything odd with the new mobile CSS? I'm pretty happy with it but there could be corners of the site I don't use that still look a bit odd.

(The space on the left is slightly wider than the space on the right but not enough to be worth updating the CSS for on its own)

No, it's different from the other embeds -- for every posted Tweet you need to make a call to Twitter's API to get a bespoke embed code. So it only takes effect on tweets posted from now on. I could think about a batch historical job, though.

one thing I like about the way Zing displays boards instead of the real site is leaving out the "Last updated on..." headers before threads older than a day.

um, i see what you mean. youtube videos are within an iframe with an explicit width and height. i can force the width to be 100% easily enough (or 90% or whatever) but can't yet find a way of maintaining the aspect ratio. maybe the aspect ratio is fixed anyway? (all the ones i've looked at are width="560" height="315", 16:9, but that doesn't help, i don't think)

Uh, so I just posted to a 77 thread, and now that thread shows up on SNA, but no other threads from 77 are there. Perhaps the other threads have just been inactive for long enough for them to fall off SNA.

For awhile now bookmarks haven't worked (aren't updasted) when I'm on www.ilxor.com. When I remove the wwww. part they do work. Just fyi.

when i open a thread that has some images in it, why does the thread open at the images instead of the most recent post? e.g. i open the us politics thread and it keeps opening at the belle and sebastian image w/ the two trump ladies even though there a bunch of posts after that

If you had it bookmarked, perhaps the thread has been moved to another board" alert. Just want to delete the bookmark at this point.

You should be able to delete it from the Bookmarks page
