If I get a chance, Silby. I actually did Vimeo ages ago because Grady asked, but it's not deployed yet. That has its own challenges, so it won't be in the next month or so, but maybe some time after that, if Stet's got some time too.

hows about an actual tag where people can just put in the 'v' number, rather than an entire link? easier to parse and you get to control the rest of the url

when i'm trying to search by username, its giving me posts that used the term i'm searching, not posts by the username i'm searching

Is working for me with "gr8080" in the lower box, search set to username and posts, or with "displayName:gr8080" in the top box, searching posts

try "a puppy"

or "puppy"

if you search in the posts-by-a-specific-user box and use quote marks around "a puppy", you get posts with the word puppy in them.

if you search in the top box for displayName:"a puppy" you get posts by a puppy.

so i think it's to do with how the posts-by-a-specific-user searchbox works

Also, I know you have said before you can tell 90% of users use SNA, but can you tell how many SNA users have it so they cant see anything from ILM?
ILM seems dead compared to what it was whilst ILE seems busier than ever. I wondered if half of ilx just dont see anything from ILM.

There used to be a cool feature where when you'd bookmarked a thread it would send you back to the top of the page. Too many people disliked it so it got dumped but I really miss it, it mirrors my behavior exactly. Please pretty please can there be something in the preferences to turn it on or off, default off for those who don't like change? It work or save me a lot of annoying scrolling on my phone.

Stet, darraghmac proposed returning the name of Flag Post back to the original Suggest Ban. He feels that the renaming has had a deleterious effect on the slasher film-like, "who will be the next to die get banned" atmosphere of ilx that he deeply cherished.
