question!!!! for the ILB massive: can people suggest good/significant books that were published in 1969? A good friend of mine turns 50 this year and I’m thinking of getting him a book from his birth year but could use some help picking. He likes Sartre, Solzhenitsyn, Dostoevsky, Grossman and Céline. If there’s a fancy 1st ed or something to be had without breaking the bank that’d be cool, otherwise I’ll just get a nice new one.
