MICK MALTHOUSE SLAMS MEDIA
Collingwood 'coach' Mick Malthouse has slammed the media for it's critisim of Collingwood's effort (ho ho) in last year's grand final loss to Brisbane.
'How dare the media critise our boys? That's MY job!'. I've pointed the finger at everyone who was involved in that disgraceful loss so often that my finger is now worn down to the second knuckle, make no bones about it.' Pretty soon, Mick will be wanting to palm the rage off to someone else (like the disgruntled supporters maybe) but right now Mad Mick won't have the media baying for black and white blood.
'The media can have what's left of them after I've finished giving them shit and as anyone who knows me knows...I'm full of it!', growled Malthouse through gritted teeth after he put his balls back into his shorts after completing the tan track run.
'It kind of reminds me of the media's treatment of the Wannabies*. They were carp and everyone said so but look at that magnificent effort against Port Power..I mean the all blacks!'. When this correspondent mentioned that the Wannabees came second as well he responded by pulling his sweaty singlet over my head and punched me in the guts...no doubt a trick he learnt from Eddie 'Broadmeadows#' Maguire.
'When will our players get some respect?' asked Mick 'Hmm, where are the spineless losers, they should have finished the run by now. Oh shit! They've gone to Portsea to run the dunes! Bloody hell, it's all Eddie's fault.....'

I had a lot of respect for Malthouse after bringing two flags to WA. I thought he was good for the Sate, the game, et al, but he is now just a rediculous figure clutching at straws and, seemingly, hogging whatever limelight he can find.

Westener agree with you on this, thought he was great for WA footy, his media presence was subtle but very effective. But since moving to Collingwood he's seems to have been 'hit with the Mr Ed stick' any exposure is good exposure!
Maybe he too is following in Buckley's footsteps, dumping a perceived losing team to go to a team to participate in Finals football - at least he got his wish! LOL
