None whatsoever. Even so, permanently banned is a bit harsh - speaking as the guy who probably had the most spectacular and vitriolic online clashes with him. It's possible the mods are doing him (and us) a favour, this was the wrong place for him, he was out of his depth.

Anyway this is as open and shut as it gets, the guy sucks shit and we all hope he doesn’t come back - I’m more interested in who the hell is jb and why did they get banned?

Turrican will be welcome back after 30 days. It's his first ban.

As wins pointed out, JB logs in every few months to lamely troll, including some very noxious accusations at other posters. Each time he did, he would receive a ton of FPs, but not enough to earn him a 51 before the 6 month time period ran out. This time I was getting ready to delete a batch of his old FPs again and thought about this playing out over and over. It's one of those things where we probably should have banned him long ago over a single instance of assholery that drew a lot of FPs but it kept slipping by us for some reason.

Turned out he kept going on the Biden thread. Also someone revived one of the Ban Fred threads which probably helped.

calz was recently crowing about various ilx0rs being made unemployed and saying it should be a permanent situation, and has rarely seemed to hold back one-on-one - was it world leaders or regular people that were being imagined stabbed in this instance?
