back when the secret board was still relatively secret to most of ILX (and when we had statscock) i registered a sock account and tried to rack up like 1000 posts on a random thread just so that some poster no one had ever heard of would be the top poster that month but i got banned about 50 posts in

Thx mods! In my innocence it never occurred to me that there would be such a mechanism but of course I can see the reasoning behind it. Funnily enough I posted all those questions in quick succession against my better instinct, which was obv to confine them all to one post. Lesson learned, won't happen again!
