Curt Schilling posts on BoSox message board

I'm sure it won't be long until candidates begin having their handlers write and post rah-rah messages on various boards, using the candidate's name, of course.

There's a Silver Jews (rock band) message board where the lead Jew (David Berman) frequently posts. When they're fabricated by idle impersonators, most are honest and illuminating.

Just had this great quote from Vida Blue that I've never come across turn up on my FB wall (assume the quote dates to 1971, his MVP year): "It's a weird scene. You win a few baseball games and all of a sudden you're surrounded by reporters and TV men with cameras asking you about Vietnam and race relations."

Made me think of Schilling.
