I can’t believe the cubs are going into the season with tyler chatwood as their fifth starter

i wonder if addison russell will ever play again

I follow the teams in the NL Central more closely than other teams; I suspect others do as well. Might as well round up the division discussion in here rather than splitting it across 5 lonely threads

But guess what? Nobody gives a toot!πŸ˜‚ (Karl Malone), Friday, 14 February 2020 18:51 (three days ago) link

some others, of course

there were 500 posts in the nl central thread last year. about as many as in the mets thread, but i don't think any other team threads came close to that many posts

ie 100 posts per team :)

100 posts per team, all by the same person

as much fun as it is to mimic the experience of blogging on your personal website to yourself, i enjoy other people contributing too

For NL Central fans, it's winning the division or bust! I think on the team threads, the same 4-6 people would post anyway.

If you watch your local cable TV channel for your local team, pretty much you are going to get to know the division teams as they play them a ton. I really don't know anything about what is going on in the AL West at all, but I see the Pirates, Cards, Brewers and Cubs play quite a bit.

I could probably count on my hand how many games I have seen Mike Trout play where I have seen Yadier Molina play hundreds of games at this point.

still pretty pissed we're not getting cubs games on broadcast tv anymore. good opportunity to watch more white sox games i guess. definitely not paying for "marquee" and putting more money in the ricketts' pockets

na (NA), Sunday, 16 February 2020 01:13 (yesterday) link

recently learned that the entire state of iowa is blacked out, on mlb.tv, from the cubs, white sox, brewers, twins, cardinals and royals

hawaii is blacked out from padres, angels, dodgers, giants, a's and mariners

amazing

i love when a band plays its hit songs

Speaking here at Spring Training Media Day, general manager Ben Cherington said he believes once the Pirates improve performance β€” in several areas β€” payroll will follow suit.
