this feels pretty easy for the diamondbacks. maybe too easy.

Greinke was bad in his last two starts whereas Gray has been consistently good for the last few months. Plus the Rockies hitters have had a lot of success against Greinke. If Gray can go deep I like Colorado's chances.

Wonder if the Detroit Catholic League still has three-ball BBs and two-strike Ks. Played a double header that probably took no longer than three hours to complete.

this is just making me realize how fucking amazing Madison Bumgarner actually is. in 2014 he threw a complete game four hit shutout to beat the Pirates. not to mention what he did in Game 7 of the World Series. last year he also pitched a complete game shutout against, flavor of the month, Syndergaard. while the Mets pulled their ace, the Giants said we are going to win or lose with Bumgarner. of course Bumgarner did not give up a run and completed the game. today these guys, including a name like Greinke, cannot even get out of the fourth inning.

yankees have the best bullpen in the offs and had the 2nd best run differential in baseball this year

last nights game was fun, lots of cool smallball despite the high score

I wouldn't draw any conclusions from one game--just get through it, no matter how ugly. Didn't realize the Yankees' Pythagorean was so good.
