2er’s over 6ip. Especially if he can get 7ip, this is another great performance in the Nathan Eovaldi post season legend.

Anytime I see Eovaldi play the first game I think of is 2018 game 3, 6 innings of extra inning relief with 1er; truly a legendary performance (even if he got tagged with the loss). To pitch an entire start like that unprepared? Crazy

I think it was absolutely meant as an old-fashioned "message pitch," and it got away from him. Besides everything else that's been pointed out, if the Astros wanted to throw at Garcia, couldn't they have burned someone else in the bullpen other than one of their key relievers? I've also got to say that, even though I found Garcia's theatrics entertaining (and understandable), for him to go all Claude Rains ("I'm shocked!") at an inside pitch is a little disingenuous.

Obviously, Houston won't have a better chance than right here.
