Giants are 4 - 2 against the dodgers but would be slaughtered if they played today.

He was, then the Blue Jays picked him up at the deadline to fill in for Bo Bichette last minute. Then he didn’t hit and Bo came back so they DFAed him. He is pretty decent with the glove iirc.

They play the Braves again after the Phillies, was assuming 6 total games - but forgot they had 4 in Atlanta. My prediction is already useless and they're probably just going to lose 10 in a row now ugh

If the Giants win at least one in Philly and one at home against the Braves then they will be fine. They play the Reds after that but not too worried about them.

The Reds have regressed a lot to where they were earlier in the season, but I’m pretty sure they’re still outhitting the Giants. Excited for Harrison though.

Not saying they're a pushover but after the Braves and Phillies it's a break

I'm trying to be positive about the rest of the season. Being negative is getting old and I love my team even with all the flaws.

Camilo Doval has blown four or five saves in a row. The Giants haven't lost all those games but this slump just keeps finding new holes.

What a frustrating 6 weeks it's been. I can name so many seasons where it feels like the All Star break actually broke the positive momentum the team has had. Feels like everyone besides Flores started slumping bad 2nd half and it hasn't relented.

Harrison was dealing, it was a great thing to witness. Dude has killer potential. Made the Reds look silly.

In honor of Dr. Morbius*, I took some good shots of various Giants backsides from the front row behind the batting circle. Almost all the starting 9 plus some PHs. Will upload tomorrow or if I have energy later (it's +1 hour to our normal bedtime routine 😅😅).

Giants scored 6 runs but only 1 earned in the third inning. Padres are a mess, I felt like I was watching the bad news bears.

12-15 month, for awhile there it was really, really dark. They can score runs now which is a huge improvement.

I would love to know which teams had the biggest difference between W-L and xW-L. Are the Padres up there, being 11 games under their xW-L in September? If they played to their differential, they would be in the wild card right now. Very very very very very silly and tragic team

1997 was before I was a Giants fan even though I was living in the Mission District at this time. I became a fan because of the new stadium and then going to the World Series three years after that. '03 was even better going wire to wire in first place. Then losing to Florida in spectacular fashion.

In other words, I have watched Giants baseball for 24 years now and this has to be the worst for a team that is will finish appropriately ,500 and better. There is no offense and needs to be addressed.
