I need to eat my words with Bailey. He’s a genuine star already. Love a switch-hitting catcher. I’ve seen people compare him to Posey, which I kind of get but I think is unfair. Regardless, the energy of this team continues to impress me, they’ve stepped up the game in all aspects and the rookies are for the most part playing out of their skins and stepping up. I can’t believe this is the same team I watched at the beginning of the season.

Sad Yaz is injured though. Love that little guy.

I certainly wouldn't compare Bailey to Posey. Bailey has been impressive in his first month. Schmidt has fallen off but Matos was the winning home run today.

Losing Yaz is huge but more worried about some of the starting pitchers.

Took three of four against the Padres and two of three against the DBacks. Great week, bring on the Blue Jays and see how it goes against the AL East. It could have gone the other way but I'm starting to fall in love with This team.

They didn't trade Belt or Longoria, this year, they just didn't offer a new contract for 2023. The Giants wanted to give younger players a chance. For Belt they felt his knee's would not hold up for a full season. The Giants went with Wade over Belt at first and an qualifying offer to Peterson instead of streaking Belt at DH.

Yeah it sucks as Belt is a great guy but you can understand having to move on as well. He will always have a place in San Francisco history and us fans will always love the guy to death.

Yeah I’d still rather him there than Joc, don’t @ me. Love Joc but Belt deserved to retire a Giant.

Patrick Bailey is having an incredible start to his MLB career. Tonight, against the Mets, he hit the go ahead 3 run home run when they were down by two. Then he throws out a base runner in the top of the next inning to help preserve the win, otherwise man on second with one out.

I’ve seen the Buster comparison but I don’t like it cos that’s a huge amount of pressure for the guy. He’s doing so so so well but it’s still early. Should definitely pick up ROY votes but think the actual award will still go to Carroll.

This road trip was brutal, after winning 10 road games in a row the Giants were lucky to win one in Toronto and one in New York. They should have done better in NY but they look like they need the all-star break to happen now.

Looks like I scored, checked MLB app one more time and there was a box that said two months for free so I signed up there. I have until November for my TV promo. I will take two months now and then three months later.

I'm so excited baseball is back. I actually had a whole breakdown of every position that I was going to post but decided against it. I was just geeking out.

I hit submit too soon. What I wanted to say is Hunter Pence was on the Apple broadcast last year but it looks like they didn't ask him back this year. I know there was an apple Giants game earlier this year but I ended up parting and missed it.

So Apple will let you tune in to the local radio broadcast and lo and behold, there is Hunter Pence with Dave Flemming.

Whatever happens, I'm just thankful the Giants got Patrick Bailey. Single handley won this game today.
