Hicks has been awful in left field...some real little league style play a few days ago when IKF (playing center) called him off a fly ball and Hicks nevertheless went in front of him for the catch

Stanton looks utterly washed up, i think one thing that was telling for me from last season is he wasn't getting any XBH beyond home runs. he played 110 games and had 31 HR and 7(!) doubles, that's a pretty good trick.

I mean, as a hater and loser I’ve never followed them that closely, but I kind of assumed that part of the Yankee machine involved actually working with their players and trying to fix problems as they arose. I could not possibly feel less sorry for the Yankees than I do right now.

Cashman's success over a 25 year period is incredible, and it doesn't just come down to money. But every time the Yankees have an off-year, I wonder whether he has the motivation to do this anymore. Nobody has ever navigated all the Steinbrenner BS better than him, but how long until he simply wants a break from it all?
