still pretty early in his career! but yeah, he's been magnificent so far. unless the cardinals do especially well next year, i expect their president of baseball ops (mozeliak, who is still effectively the GM) to be gone. it's not exactly fair, i guess, but arozarena becoming a hearo may be his death knell

Normally I'm 1000% leave-him-in--especially facing elimination, especially with a manageable pitch count--but I don't know, if it's something Snell just doesn't do, maybe it's risky. I heard earlier today he hasn't pitched beyond the fifth inning in something like a year (and was generally finished after six in his Cy Young year).
