Kiermaier really putting on a CF clinic.

brooklyn suicide cult (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 02:00 (five years ago)

Melancon has caught more homeruns this season than he has allowed.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 02:11 (five years ago)

welp this blowout got interesting in a hurry

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 02:16 (five years ago)

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 02:18 (five years ago)

Wheels falling off the Astros’ bus in spectacular fashion.

Three Rings for the Elven Bishop (Dan Peterson), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 03:03 (five years ago)

FRAUDULENT STEAKS (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 03:42 (five years ago)

well here we go

frogbs, Wednesday, 14 October 2020 04:04 (five years ago)

Shades of the Braves game earlier...

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 04:04 (five years ago)

what's going on with the altuve throwing errors? injury or yips?

na (NA), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 14:15 (five years ago)

yips

mookieproof, Wednesday, 14 October 2020 16:28 (five years ago)

He (well, the whole team, but he especially) should be thankful that he's being spared from relentless heckling.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 16:31 (five years ago)

is there anything preventing the opposing team from banging on water coolers really loudly while the astros bat?

president of my cat (Karl Malone), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 16:40 (five years ago)

other than poor sportsmanship and the possibility of getting into a physical altercation i mean?

president of my cat (Karl Malone), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 16:41 (five years ago)

I watch playoffs/world series in a weird way. Once my Twins are eliminated I root for whoever eliminates the Yankees. Last year that was the Astros, and Altuve knocked in the series-ending walkoff homer. This year I'm cheering for the Rays, and I now know the Astros are a bunch of cheaters, but I still feel a little for him and his fielding errors. But just a little.

Three Rings for the Elven Bishop (Dan Peterson), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 17:24 (five years ago)

an Altuve-amount of feels?

FRAUDULENT STEAKS (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 19:01 (five years ago)

btw some pretty impressive stuff from ian anderson this post (as ron darling would say), despite the walks yesterday

it's surprisingly difficult to make a baseball-related jethro tull reference

a cautionary tale, though, as the last rookie with this kind of playoff scoreless streak was . . . michael wacha

mookieproof, Wednesday, 14 October 2020 19:48 (five years ago)

Anderson much more impressive than Wright

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 22:23 (five years ago)

lol @ Atlanta

Bidh boladh a' mhairbh de 'n láimh fhalaimh (dowd), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 22:37 (five years ago)

I hope Turner gets drilled in his next AB.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 22:37 (five years ago)

"Oh you want to pretend to get hit to get on base the cheap way? How about 100mph between the shoulder blades?"

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 22:38 (five years ago)

(not that anyone will remember that AB or anything haha)

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 22:38 (five years ago)

Ok dodgers

(•̪●) (carne asada), Wednesday, 14 October 2020 22:39 (five years ago)

mookieproof, Wednesday, 14 October 2020 23:32 (five years ago)

mookieproof, Wednesday, 14 October 2020 23:34 (five years ago)

Eggs Benedict warming up.

Andy K, Thursday, 15 October 2020 01:40 (five years ago)

Damn. Rays were a matter of feet from putting the series away right there.

FRAUDULENT STEAKS (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Thursday, 15 October 2020 03:50 (five years ago)

it's surprisingly difficult to make a baseball-related jethro tull reference

“I watch playoffs/world series in a weird way. Once my Twins are eliminated I root for whoever eliminates the Yankees. “

Lol did someone get their feelings hurt?

calstars, Thursday, 15 October 2020 11:27 (five years ago)

FRAUDULENT STEAKS (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Thursday, 15 October 2020 13:10 (five years ago)

Baker: "They cooked me for taking Russ Ortiz out in the World Series in 2002. In today's game that would be the thing to do. Third time through the order, 6 2/3..."

— Brian McTaggart (@brianmctaggart) October 15, 2020

nah, they cooked you for giving him the ball

mookieproof, Thursday, 15 October 2020 17:31 (five years ago)

It was all the Rally Monkey's fault.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Thursday, 15 October 2020 17:45 (five years ago)

well

mookieproof, Friday, 16 October 2020 00:45 (five years ago)

Kershaw and the third time through the order.

Van Horn Street, Friday, 16 October 2020 01:56 (five years ago)

This Braves hitting reminds me of the 2019 Nats.

Van Horn Street, Friday, 16 October 2020 02:08 (five years ago)

would be amazing to see ATL drop a 15 spot in this inning

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Friday, 16 October 2020 02:17 (five years ago)

will it ever be enough for you?

mookieproof, Friday, 16 October 2020 02:20 (five years ago)

you love to see it

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Friday, 16 October 2020 02:32 (five years ago)

damn, we don't get to see Will Smith vs. Will Smith.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Friday, 16 October 2020 02:43 (five years ago)

(asking again: have they faced each other before?)

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Friday, 16 October 2020 02:44 (five years ago)

Just fuckin' no with the Astros, I'm all in for Rays/Braves

Guayaquil (eephus!), Friday, 16 October 2020 03:25 (five years ago)

I was slammed at work and couldn't see much of the game but I saw Acuña tumble -- did he leave the game, is he ok?

(show hidden tics) (WmC), Friday, 16 October 2020 03:35 (five years ago)

At the time it looked like he broke/sprained his wrist (might be my PTSD from my vert skateboarding days), but he ended up staying in and seemed fine so shrug.ascii

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Friday, 16 October 2020 03:43 (five years ago)

might be my PTSD from my vert skateboarding days

looool okay toughie

mookieproof, Friday, 16 October 2020 03:49 (five years ago)

Sixth inning playoff Kershaw ... again.

How many teams down 3-0 have forced a game 6? '99 Mets and '04 Red Sox, are there more?

NoTimeBeforeTime, Friday, 16 October 2020 04:06 (five years ago)

Starting to look like big trouble for the Rays.

Van Horn Street, Saturday, 17 October 2020 00:44 (five years ago)

I don’t feel like watching an Astros vs Braves WS.

Van Horn Street, Saturday, 17 October 2020 00:57 (five years ago)

Okay guys, Will Smith vs. Will Smith is happening right now.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Saturday, 17 October 2020 03:27 (five years ago)

First time players with the same name have faced each other in the postseason.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Saturday, 17 October 2020 03:28 (five years ago)

Will Smith prevails!

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Saturday, 17 October 2020 03:30 (five years ago)
