xp yeah that's dumb, but it's true the five-game series is flawed this way

at the same time, it seemed like the dodgers were regressing to their undisciplined plate approaches that screwed them last year. they looked like a different team in that respect when the season began and have sort of been backsliding.

also, relying on Max and Stras this heavily is likely to stop working at some point

It looks mike Max is enjoying this approach so far. not sure if Strasburg was appreciating it as much.

Everybody (incl. on this thread) forgets that Corbin put together a really nice season for the Nats this year (4.8 fWAR, #13 SP in MLB) or (5.4 bWAR, tied for #10 with Soroka in MLB)
